Karen Mauro, CFP

Karen Mauro has been a Financial Advisor for almost 40 years and is a Registered Representative with Cadaret Grant & Co., Inc.  

Her passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals led her to obtain her CFP designation at Adelphi University in 1986 so that she would be better able to serve the needs of her clients and their families.  Her role as a CFP has included consultations with clients to determine their financial goals and to provide customized advice in the various areas of financial planning which include investments, insurance, taxation, retirement and estate planning.  

Karen offers comprehensive advice designed to help clients grow and sustain their wealth through sound investment strategies.  Her objective is to develop long term relationships with all her clients and help them meet their financial goals through careful planning and guidance.

Her greatest pleasure is now working with the second generation of her clients. Karen says, “It’s wonderful to see how the children of my clients have come aboard and thrived because they started early on their financial journey.”

Karen earned her B.A. and M.A. Degrees from Brooklyn College and is also a Life and Health Insurance Agent in NY and FL.  She has authored articles that appeared in Newsday, Long Island Business Life, Long Island Bride and Groom and the Journal of Financial Planning.
